Following the successful European Academy of Management Early Career Colloquia held in Nuremberg, Innsbruck, Dublin, Liechtenstein, Almeria and Krakow we are pleased to announce that the 7th EURAM Early Career Colloquium (EECC) Winter Olympics will be hosted by the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (Chair for Strategic Management and Chair for Human Resources Management & Business Governance) in February 2016.

The aim of the EECC is to offer a platform for early career academics (broadly defined e.g. assistant professors, Post-doctoral researchers, recently appointed lecturers/associate professors, advanced PhD students) to come together to discuss key challenges, learn from experts and share career related insights. The EECC provides a forum for networking, knowledge exchange and development of research collaborations.

The theme of the EECC in Halle (Saale) is “Networking (and) Methods”. Key sessions will build on this theme covering topics such as innovative methods for research, teaching and networking. Given its success during the EECC 2015, you will have the possibility to discuss your work-in progress papers with mentors and peers. Also, as participant of the EECC 2016 Winter Olympics you will have the possibility to present your final papers during a dedicated EECC Winter Olympic track at the EURAM 2016 conference in Paris. This is networking in practice as you will get to know people from across Europe who might be interested in a joint research project, paper etc.; the program will give enough time for this!

Participation fee (160 Euro) covers cost of catering, social excursions and workshop materials. Participants are kindly requested to cover transportation and accommodation cost. We will be happy to help you find convenient and affordable accommodation in Halle/Saale.
